Hi, barefoot running enthusiasts!

I am writing to you on behalf of the Latvian Barefoot Running Society. I found your address on the Internet during the search of likeminded people around the World that would be interested to get connected with us, barefoot runners from Latvia.
This September we are organizing the First Baltic Barefoot Ultramarathon along the Latvian coastline of the Baltic Sea and we would like to invite you and your barefoot running friends to take part in it. The course is very scenery as it is held in Kurzeme – one of the most beautiful regions of Latvia. We offer three race distances – 11 km, 32 km and 53 km. The date is 28th September, 2013. The race is very suitable for barefoot running having nice sandy beaches with no pebbles or other obstacles.
Our homepage (http://www.pabaso.lv) is currently only in Latvian, but full information about the race is available in Russian here - http://pabaso.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/nolikums_rus.pdf
The barefoot and minimalist running movement is very new in Latvia, so we would be honoured to share our first barefoot racing experience with you, our colleagues from Russia. If you can’t make it to participate yourself, we would be grateful, if you could promote this event by informing barefoot runners in your area that might be interested (or maybe even shod runners, since running barefoot is not mandatory in this race :)).
Looking forward to hear from you soon,
Edgars Rencis
